Menu Plan Monday: August 17

I’m back!  *cheer*

It’s been a rough month or so.  We’ve tried to get unpacked.  suitNtie lost his father a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying to get back into a routine and I don’t have a whole lot to show for it minus the very light wallet. But finally, I’ve gotten my act together and I am SO happy to be blogging and menu planning again!

For those new to the Kitchen, I link recipes that are linkable in my Monday post, but always post the recipe the day it is made and when I can, post a picture as well as my review of it in the comments.  So if you are intrigued by a dinner, come on back to see what we thought!

Monday: black bean burgers
Tuesday: chicken and black bean enchilada casserole
Wednesday: grilled watermelon salad with balsamic chicken
Thursday: chinese pork burgers
Friday: FFY buffet, I will be waist deep in prep for Saturday…
Saturday: Burgerpalooza 2009 @ our house!
Sunday: leftovers again, from the cookout. 🙂

  1. Do it! Add them back in, and try them! I really love black beans (can you tell from seeing them twice on this week’s menu), and sometimes protein just isn’t available on sale. I love the versatility of burgers, and how easy they are to do. I am curious to see how much flavor is in this recipe. If it doesn’t work, I will definitely keep trying until I find one!

  2. I am hoping it will be! Forecast isn’t great right now, but this far out I don’t have too much faith in it. Here’s hoping. We’ll have enough food to choke an army, and I will try to take some pictures for posterity (and blogging, of course).
