I’ve always loved club sandwiches, since I worked my way through college at a 24 hour diner. (I did the overnight shift mostly, ugh). There is just something so satisfying about toast and turkey and well done bacon. I’ve never been really into mayo, so I substitute mayo with honey mustard these days.
I change this recipe depending on what I have around. This week, it’s working out like this:
Dietz & Watson Ovengold Turkey Breast
Wonder Whole Grain bread
roasted heirloom tomato
basil pesto (leftover from quesadillas)
applewood smoked bacon (sadly, not thick cut- I bought a giant box at BJ’s Wholesale Club)
