Menu Plan Monday: October 12

For those new to the Kitchen, I link recipes that are linkable in my Monday post, but always post the recipe the day it is made and when I can, post a picture as well as my review of it in the comments.  So if you are intrigued by a dinner, come on back to see what we thought!

Also, not every day is a new recipe.  On days where I’m cooking something we already know and love, I try to link to the original post so that you can still try it, but I pose a Question of the Day that I would love feedback on.  On days where we are doing Fend For Yourself (FFY) Buffet, I post something that I “covet” for your review and commentary.

Last week got a little screwy.  I never got to the spaghetti and meatballs this past weekend, so I’m making it at the end of this week.  The last meal I actually got to was the Turkey Taco Burgers on Thursday.  Believe it or not, after that, we were eating leftovers or out of the fridge for the remainder of the week, excepting last night- I made some basil pasta and served the tomato/mozz/basil salad on the side.  Yay, improvisation!!!  All in the name of economizing. 🙂

Monday: roasted tomato meatloaf (Kitchen original)

Tuesday: Chicken Bombay

Wednesday: baked haddock (Kitchen original)

Thursday: chicken pot pie (Kitchen original)

Friday: FFY Buffet for suitNtie, Boo and Roo.   I will be doing my first home party this night.  Wish me luck!

Saturday: we’re all at a birthday party, Happy Birthday, Kendall!!  I’m eating fabulously today because I also have a baby shower in the AM.  Love those days!

Sunday: spaghetti and meatballs (sauce didn’t get made last weekend, so we’re doing it this weekend!)
