Menu Plan Monday: October 19

For those new to the Kitchen, I link recipes that are linkable in my Monday post, but always post the recipe the day it is made and when I can, post a picture as well as my review of it in the comments.  So if you are intrigued by a dinner, come on back to see what we thought!

Also, not every day is a new recipe.  On days where I’m cooking something we already know and love, I try to link to the original post so that you can still try it, but I pose a Question of the Day that I would love feedback on.  On days where we are doing Fend For Yourself (FFY) Buffet, I post something that I “covet” for your review and commentary.

It’s been pretty crazy here!  I spent the better part of last week gearing up for the first event for my home business, so dinners kind of fell off the radar after the first few days last week.  We are still foraging our way through the freezer and pantry.  So it’s only a half failure. 🙂

This coming week on the Kitchen table…

Monday: Nana’s chicken soup (we finished up the last of the freezer leftovers, so I am making my new batch)

Tuesday:  baked haddock with tomatoes, garlic, onion and mozzarella

Wednesday: penne a la vodka ( Emeril’s jarred sauce)

Thursday:    breakfast for dinner (fried eggs, homefries, bacon)

Friday:  FFY buffet (out at a home party)

Saturday:  out at a birthday party!! Happy birthday, Jacob! I’m bringing homemade cornbread to go with the chili that will be at the party.

Sunday:  homemade spaghetti and meatballs
